Kung Fury is what you get when you take a bunch of ideas from a group of imaginative people and throw a lot of money at them. The Good: Very addictive stuff Has a real charm about it Great pick up and play fun The Bad: Not much content Steep difficulty curve Things I Learnt From This Game: All these hours and I still don't know what the red ninjas do The simple ideas are usually the best I personally have put many hours into it and though it's a one trick pony it's entertaining enough to steal plenty of your attention. Not only is it very addictive but it's utterly merciless and gets real difficult real fast. Considering the simplicity you'd think it would be easy but that couldn't be further from the truth. Each enemy type requires a different combination, namely for example 2 attacks for the soldier leaders and forward, back, forward for the stealthy nurses. Playing as Kung Fury or one of his three friends you survive for as long as you can being besieged by criminals, soldiers, robots and ninjas. The game itself couldn't be any simpler, you have two buttons essentially just being attack left and attack right. In keeping with the retro 80's theme of the movie it looks like an old school arcade title and it really works. Video game adaptations are usually terrible, they're usually barely connected cashgrabs but to its credit Street Rage is far from that.
